1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes

3. Safety notes

Warning

Place the cable of the laptop lock so that it does not cause a

tripping hazardorblock emergency exits!

•Donot modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the

warranty.

4. Setting the combination number

Note

The combination is factory-set to ‘0000’.

•With avalid combination (‘0000’ factorysetting, or stored

personal code),push the cable towards the numbered wheels

and hold it in position.

•Using the numbered wheels, enter your new,personalised

combination.

•Release the cable in order to save the new combination.

Warning

Make surethat the cablesprings back to its original position

after releasing it.

Note

•Weexpressly recommend writing the new combination

down and storingitinasafeplace.

•Weaccept no liability for any damages resulting from lost

or forgottencombinations.

5. Connecting andlocking the laptoplock

•Attach the cable to a xed object, e.g. foot of atable,

cupboard.

•Press the unlocking button on the lockdown and hold the

button in this position.

•Insert the lock into theUSB port of the device to be secured.

•Let go of the unlocking button.

•Now adjust the number combination.

Note

This laptop lock is intended foruse on USB-Aportsin

compliant with the USBspecification. If special formsofthe

USB-Aport areused, the function may be restricted.

6. Opening the laptop lock

•Enter the correct combination number.

•Press the unlocking button on the lockdown and hold the

button in this position.

•Pullthe lock out of of the USB port.
