Lock both sides by pressing the two lock tabs.
Insert the black post into the hole.
Select from 4 adult positions. For children, use
the original Pediatric and Baby No-Neck collars.

cervical spine. Stifneck should only be used by persons who have received
adequate training.
Do not use an improperly sized collar. Too large a collar may hyperextend a
patient’s cervical spine; too small a collar may not provide appropriate stability.
Special sizes of Stifneck collars are available for children and others with
small bodies.
LIMITED WARRANTY
LAERDAL MEDICAL AS, P.O. Box 377, N-4002 Stavanger, warrants to the user who
originally purchases this product that it is free from defects in material and
workmanship for one year. The sole obligation of Laerdal Medical AS in the event
of breach of warranty shall be to repair or replace the defective product or part(s).
LAERDAL MEDICAL AS shall have no obligation under this limited warranty
in the event:
(a) The product was not purchased from LAERDAL MEDICAL AS,
or through its authorized channels of distribution;
(b) The product is altered;
(c) Any parts not supplied by LAERDAL MEDICAL AS are inserted
into the product;
(d) The product is not used in accordance with LAERDAL MEDICAL AS
Directions For Use.
THE FOREGOING IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR FAILURE IN SERVICE

trop étendre le rachis cervical du patient ; une minerve trop courte peut ne pas
apporter la stabilité appropriée. Des minerves Stifneck de tailles spécifiques
aux enfants et autres personnes de petite taille sont disponibles.

Verwenden Sie keine Manschette, die eine falsche Größe hat. Eine zu große Manschette kann
die Halswirbelsäule eines Patienten überstrecken. Eine zu kleine Manschette bietet u.U. nicht
die nötige Stabilität. Spezielle Stifneck-Manschettengrößen sind für Kinder und kleinwüchsige
Patienten erhältlich.
BESCHRÄNKTE GARANTIE
LAERDAL MEDICAL AS, Norway P.O. Box 377, N-4002 Stavanger, gewährt dem Benutzer,
der Erstkäufer dieses Produkts ist, eine Garantie für ein Jahr, daß es frei von Material-
und Herstellungsfehlern ist. Die einzige Verpflichtung der LAERDAL MEDICAL AS im Falle

Importante: non effettuare la regolazione
dei collari Select sul paziente.
La misura No-Neck non è adatta per tutti
i pazienti
Magazzinaggio: non immagazzinare i
collari in posizione ripiegata, ma
completamente aperta.

persone appositamente formate.
Non utilizzare collari della misura errata. Un collare troppo grande può provocare
un’iperestensione della regione cervicale della spina dorsale del paziente, mentre un
collare troppo piccolo può non fornire una stabilità adeguata. Per i bambini e gli altri
pazienti di piccola taglia sono disponibili collari Stifneck di misure speciali.
GARANZIA LIMITATA

all’acquirente originale di questo prodotto sarà esente da difetti nei materiali e nella
lavorazione per un anno. Gli obblighi di Laerdal Medical AS in caso di violazione della
garanzia si limitano alla riparazione o alla sostituzione del prodotto o dei componenti
eventualmente difettosi.
