• In anti-frost mode, the heater displays only the ambient temperature and the anti-

frost mode icon ( ) on the control panel.

4.1.8 Using the timer

You can set the timer to allow the heater to work in a working mode for only a preset

number of hours (1 to 24).

To set the timer, follow the steps below:

1. Put the heater into a working mode such as low heating mode.

2. Press the Timer button on the control panel. The heater will display the timer icon

(

) on the control panel and blink the preset number of hours (00) for 5 seconds.

3. While the preset number of hours is blinking, press the Plus (+) or Minus (-) button

to cycle through the numbers of hours (0 to 24).

4. When your desired number of hours (1 to 24) appears, wait 5 seconds to start the

timer.

Tips:

• To end the timer immediately, press the Power button or press the Timer button

twice.

4.1.9 Other features

Overheat protection

The heater is fitted with an overheat protection switch (thermal cutout) that will power off

the heater automatically in case of overheating. If this occurs, follow the steps below to

resolve the problem:

1. Unplug the heater and allow it to cool fully.

2. Follow the operation instructions to restart the heater.

Tip-over protection

The heater is fitted with a tip-over switch that will cut off the power to the heater if it is

tipped over. If this occurs, follow the steps below to resolve the problem:

1. Place the heater back on a flat, level and stable surface.

2. Inspect the heater for damage.

Cooling down before stopping

If you stop the heater when it is operating in a heating mode, the heater will keep the

fan running for 30 seconds to cool down the heating element before stopping. This is a

mechanism to help extend the heater's service life. During this cooling down process, the

heater will display the remaining time (30-0) of the countdown timer on the control panel.

5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Cleaning

1. Turn the heater off and disconnect it from the power supply.

2. Wait until the heater has completely cooled down.

3. Wipe the surface of the unit with a soft damp cloth. Mild detergent can be used for

any stubborn marks.

Notes:

• Do not use harsh detergents, chemical cleaners or solvents as they may damage

the surface finish of the heater.

• Never immerse the heater in water.

• Do not allow water or other liquids to run into the interior of the heater, as this could

create a fire and/or electrical hazard.

• Ensure the heater is dry before plugging it in again.

Storage

If you will not use the heater for an extended period, after cleaning it, please:

1. Ensure you have turned the heater off and disconnected it from the power supply.

2. Cover the heater and store it upright in a dry location where it will not receive direct

sunlight. Note: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will discolour the unit.

6. GUARANTEES

Guarantees and limitations of liability

Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase, or from

the date of delivery to the customer’s home. Depending on the country, this guarantee

consists of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal compliance guarantee.

For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a 12-month

commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the rst guarantee, and supplements it.

For the legal compliance guarantee

Please consult your retailer for information and/or to refer to their GTCs (General

Terms and Conditions of Sale).

For the commercial guarantee

Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of purchase

(e.g. sales receipt), the product and the accessories it came with, and its original

packaging, for all countries other than France. It is important to have the date of

purchase, the model and the serial number or IMEI number to hand (this information is

usually indicated on the product, packaging, or on your proof of purchase). You’ll need

to bring back the product with the accessories needed for its correct functioning (power

supply, adapter, etc.). If your claim is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service

may, within the limits of local law, either:

■ Repair or replace faulty parts.

■ Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same

features and that o󰀨ers equivalent performances.

■ Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.

Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or reconditioned hardware and

components.

Commercial guarantee exclusions:

■ Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modication or

an unsuitable current or voltage connection.

■ Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the

appliance (oxidation, corrosion), use of energy, use or installation non-compliant

with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or

consumables which are unsuitable.

■ Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.

■ Products that have been modied, or which have damaged, altered, erased or

oxidised guarantee seals or serial numbers.

■ Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.

■ Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions

set out in the manual.

■ Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.

■ Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.

■ Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product: seals,

lters, accessories, vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead projector

lamps, washing machine paddles, etc.

■ Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
