BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packing material from the
appliance.
2. Before rst use, clean the oil container and the
frying basket as described in the CLEANING &
MAINTENANCE chapter.
TIPS FOR FRYING
• Slice the food thinly and into even pieces. In
this way, the food will be fried evenly.
• To prevent the hot oil from splattering, gently
pat the food dry before placing it in the fryer.
• Shake o ice crystals or excess toppings (e.g.
breadcrumbs) before frying.
• Do not overll the frying basket.
• Do not fry frozen or very moist ingredients
when the oil level is at the MAX mark.
• The amount of food must not exceed 1/3 of the
basket volume.
• Do not fry when the oil level is below the MIN
mark.
OPERATION
1. Place the appliance on a dry, level and heat-
resistant surface.
2. Open the lid by pressing the opening lever and
remove the frying basket.
3. Pour fresh oil into the oil container.
4. Connect the power cord to a power outlet -
The power indicator lights up.
5. Set the recommended frying temperature for
the food by turning the temperature control
knob. (See reference table FRYING TIME AND
TEMPERATURE)
6. Wait for the oil to reach temperature. During
the heating process, the heating indicator
lights up. When the set temperature is reached
the heating indicator turns o. The thermostat
will then cycle on and o to maintain the
temperature.
7. After the oil is heated, open the lid and put the
food into the frying basket.
8. Now carefully place the frying basket into the
oil container and close the lid.
9. After frying, open the lid, lift the frying basket
and hang it on the edge of the oil container
to let the oil drain from the food for a few
seconds.
10. Then pour the food onto a tray covered with
paper towels to catch the remaining oil.
11. When you are nished frying, turn the
temperature control knob to OFF and unplug
the power cord.

depending on personal taste, type and quantity
of food.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Always unplug the appliance from power and
allow it to cool down before cleaning.
2. Never immerse the appliance or power cord in
water. Do not let the electrical parts come into
contact with moisture.
3. After cooling, it is recommended to transfer
the oil into a container and store it in the
refrigerator or another cool place. To do this,
open the lid and remove the basket, then lift
out the oil container and lter the oil through a
ne sieve into a storage container.
4. Remove any oil residues form the oil container
with a paper towel.
5. For easy cleaning, the lid can be removed by
lifting it upwards when open.
6. Clean the oil container, frying basket and lid
with warm water and a little detergent and let
them dry thoroughly.
7. Refrain from using scouring pads, abrasive
cleaners or steel wool.
8. Clean the housing of the unit with a damp
cloth and then wipe it dry.
9. Store the appliance in a dry place, out of the
reach of children.

regulations: hand in the non-working electrical
equipment to an appropriate waste disposal
center.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended when
plugged into a power outlet.
• Do not operate this appliance with an external
timer or remote-control device.
• The appliance becomes hot during operation.
Therefore, be careful not to touch any of the
hot parts.
• Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of a
malfunction.
• Always allow the oil to cool before moving the
fryer, as hot oil can cause serious burns.
• As long as the appliance is hot, it should be
supervised, even if it is not connected to the
mains. Allow the appliance to cool down fully
before cleaning and storing it.
• Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
• The appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years.
• We are excluded of liability for all damages that
may arise if the appliance is used for purposes
other than originally intended or if it is used
inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on the unit
must only be done by authorised specialist
personnel!

Attach the handle to the basket…
1. Press the two rods of the handle slightly
together.
2. Insert the ends of the rods into the two holes
in the basket.
3. Push the handle backwards until it snaps into
place on the clamping bracket.
